Compu-Med Vocational Careers (CMVC) offers an associate degree in nursing (ADN). An ADN is an entry-level nursing credential that provides opportunities in the field. 

However, many ADN graduates may want to further their education. The partnership between CMVC and South University provides a way for CMVC graduates to advance their degrees at South University.

Transferring credits 

The CMVC and South University articulation agreement ensures that credits from CMVC can transfer to South University. Students who graduate from CMVC will need to complete all of South University’s admission requirements and submit proof of their ADN degree and college transcripts. 

Credits from the CMVC program will transfer to satisfy 41 credits of General Education, 4 credits of Foundation requirements, and 45 credits toward Major Nursing requirements. 

Transfer students also receive a 10 percent tuition scholarship at South University. The scholarship will be applied for the duration of time that the student is at South University.

With CMVC and South University, nursing students can advance their degrees with no loss of credits.
