Become a Dental Assistant in Florida

If you also want to perform x-rays, you will need to apply for Dental Radiology licensing from the Florida Board of Dentistry. Requirements for this responsibility include the following:
- Three months of on-the-job training under a licensed dentist in dental radiology procedures -and-
- Proof of approved coursework within 12 months of your on-the-job training.
